The Telangana Labour Card is a government-issued identity card provided to unorganized sector workers, especially construction and daily wage workers. It is issued by the Telangana Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (TBOCWWB) under the Labour Department.

This card enables workers to access various government welfare schemes, including:

Education support for children

Pension schemes

Maternity assistance

Accident and death compensation

Tool kits and skill development training

This initiative ensures that registered labourers receive social security and financial assistance from the government.

How to Apply Online for Telangana Labour Card

Follow these steps to apply online:

Step 1: Visit the Official Portal
Go to the Telangana Labour Department Portal or directly download the TBOCWW Board Mobile App from the Play Store (search TBocwwBoard).

Step 2: Choose Labour Card Registration
Click on BOCW Worker Registration or Construction Worker Registration.

You may also visit your nearest MeeSeva center if online registration is difficult.

Step 3: Fill in the Application Form
Enter the following details:

Full Name

Aadhaar Number (must be linked to mobile)

Date of Birth

Address

Type of Work (construction, plumbing, electrical, etc.)

Employer/Contractor Details

Bank Account Number (for benefits transfer)Step 4: Upload Required Documents

Prepare scanned copies of the following:

Aadhaar Card

Passport-size Photograph

Address Proof (Ration Card, Electricity Bill, etc.)

Bank Passbook (first page)

Age Proof (if DOB not on Aadhaar)

Work certificate (from employer or contractor)

Step 5: Submit and Pay the Fee

Pay the registration fee online (usually ₹25–₹50).

Submit the application and note down the application/reference number.

Step 6: Track Application Status

You can track your application through the same portal or mobile app.

Once verified and approved, the labour card will be issued and available for download or will be sent physically.

Labour Card Renewal

Labour cards are valid for one year.

You must renew it annually by visiting the same portal or MeeSeva center.
